Heijdenrijk Frames was founded in Amsterdam in 1845 and has been one of the world's premier suppliers of handmade frames to museums, art dealers and private collectors for decades. At the beginning of 2009 they joined forces with Gehring Frames, also regarded as one of the most prestigious picture framing companies.

 

With our site we would like you to get to know us, our views and how we work.

 

We have a team of twelve highly skilled experts and we are one of the largest and most highly specialized frame making workshops in the Benelux. We are very proud of our international position in the frame making trade and we work hard to maintain that.

 

Our workshop and showrooms are located in the same building, housing over a thousand handmade frames and the largest collection of antique frames in the country.

 

We specialize in producing picture frames in different styles from 16^th century through to the 20^th  century. All these are fully handmade by our skilled staff of gilders and craftsmen. 

 

 We have a collection of classic and modern handmade frames; a collection of antique frames together with a collection of 17^th century  black ebony frames. We also have a collection of well-balanced, ready-made profiles that offer a wide range of choice to suit any painting in various price ranges.
